Emily Jeremiah
Emily Jeremiah is Professor of Contemporary Literature and Gender Studies at Royal Holloway, University of London, and the author of three monographs. She is also a prize-winning translator of Finnish poetry and fiction.
With Fleur Jeremiah, she has co-translated five novels; their translation of White Hunger, by Aki Ollikainen, was longlisted for the Man Booker International Prize 2016. Emily is a long-standing judge of the Schlegel-Tieck Prize for German translation, and has a novella, Blue Moments, forthcoming with Valley Press.
